Client—Marble Fairbanks

30 feet by 20 feet

This interior wall is part of an environmental graphics project developed for The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in association with the architecture office of Marble Fairbanks. 100,215 ellipses of nine different widths were laser-cut into 27 12-gauge steel panels. Together, the ellipses form a digitally-altered photograph taken from a window in the School. The final resolution of the image is one ellipse per square inch.
