100,215 Holes is an impromptu publication documenting the installation of a portion of the environmental graphic program, developed for The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.
100,215 ellipses of nine different widths were laser-cut into 27 12-gauge steel panels. Together, the ellipses form a digitally-altered photograph taken of Broadway from a window in the School. The final resolution of the image is one ellipse per square inch. This project was done in association with the architecture office of Marble Fairbanks.
